How Long Does Invisalign Take?

Because every patient is unique, no two Invisalign treatments are the same. For most patients, the average treatment time with Invisalign is between 6 and 18 months.

While not every patient can qualify as an Invisalign candidate, the treatment is suitable for all ages, and children, teens, and adults alike can benefit from convenient, comfortable smile alignment.

The Invisalign Process

1. In your first consultation, Dr. Robinson will take a 3D digital impression of your teeth. (Yes, that means no goopy impressions!)
2. Dr. Robinson will design a treatment plan based on your current smile and your goals. You can even see a digital model of what your new smile will look like.
3. Your digital impression is then sent to a lab so they can fabricate your custom aligner trays.
4. You will come in to have your teeth cleaned and prepped, and then Dr. Robinson will fit your aligners.
5. Every two weeks or so, you will come in to get your next set of aligner trays and so we can check your progress.
6. If you are diligent about wearing your aligners at least 20 hours a day and following Dr. Robinson’s care instructions, you can have your dream smile in no time!
